The HELLENIC FINANCIAL PLANNERS ASSOCIATION – H.F.P.A, was founded in September 2010 by a group of insurance consultants whose common vision was to advance their profession to the highest level of the insurance industry.

To make this vision a reality, they knew they had to invest:

in continuous training, with the aim of obtaining European Certification and
in technology in order to reach the level of their colleagues abroad.

During the intervening twelve years, the Union grew and through common effort and a lot of work the goals were reached!

2019 was the landmark year, for two big steps in the history of the Union.
It was the year that nine years of efforts paid off!

With the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Hellenic Institute of Insurance Studies – EIAS, a strategic partner of HFPA, the European Certification Organization Eficert and the academic support of the University of Piraeus, as an educational arm, was completed and signed the agreement for the right of HFPA members to participate in the exams to obtain the European Certification, of all levels.

With the agreement and signing of cooperation with the Dutch company figlo, the HFPA ensured exclusively for Greece and Cyprus, the use of software for creating a financial planning study, in order for its members to be able to offer high-level services to their clients.

The second decade finds the HFPA setting two new major goals:

• The acquaintance and familiarization of the consumer public with the philosophy of financial planning, through the association’s organization and participation in seminars for companies and organizations, in the context of its social responsibility.
• The continuous training of its members through the creation of an educational program of the method of Financial Planning (F.P.)
